Favorable natural conditions for growing rapeseed on the territory of the Kodyma city territorial community create investment opportunities for the development of biodiesel production activities.

On the territory of the community, agricultural production averages 80.0% in the structure of gross production. Under the 2023 harvest, rape in the community is sown on an area of more than 3.0 thousand hectares. Crops in this area are enough to produce 5,000 tons of biodiesel.

In the future, it is possible to increase the acreage on the territory of the community and establish mutually beneficial cooperation with agricultural producers of neighboring communities to obtain additional raw materials. The estimated cost of fuel ~ $0.5/l.

Attracting investments to organize production for processing agricultural products will realize the internal economic potential of the community and ensure energy independence.
