The Region’s natural resources – peat, sapropel, chalk, sand, clay, building stone, amber, and biomass – form the basis for the development of green energy and environmentally sustainable production.
Volyn is among six Regions of Ukraine selected to participate in the Swiss–Ukrainian undertaking “Cohesion & Regional Development project” (UCORD). The program aims to support Regional recovery, the development of small businesses, environmental services, and creative industries.
