Setting Up a Polyethylene Pipe Production Plant

We are a company with extensive experience in supplying recycled raw materials and selling polyethylene pipes and fittings on the Ukrainian market

Project Goal:
To support the restoration and development of Ukraine’s infrastructure through the establishment of a plastic pipe manufacturing facility. The project aims to contribute to the country’s recovery by rebuilding damaged utility networks and developing new water supply, sewage, gas, and cable infrastructure systems.

Project implementation will reduce environmental impact by using recycled raw materials, stimulate economic activity through value creation and job generation, and lower product costs to meet growing customer demand while decreasing import dependence.

Project Concept
1. Potential Investment Scenarios:
Construction of a new production facility
Expansion based on an existing factory
Acquisition and revitalization of an inactive plant
2. Installation of Automated Polyethylene Pipe Extrusion Lines:
Line for 20–110 mm diameter pipes
Line for 110–315 mm diameter pipes
Line for 280–630 mm diameter pipes
Line for 500–1200 mm diameter pipes
3. Establishment of a recycling process for secondary polyethylene and polypropylene to be used in pipe manufacturing.
4. Application of proprietary technology for the production of three-layer wear-resistant pipes designed for use in mining, utilities, and agriculture sectors.
5. Creation of a manufacturing base aimed at exporting to EU markets, including Poland, Moldova, and Romania.

Challenges We Address:
1. Shortage of high-quality polyethylene pipes on the domestic market.
2. High dependence on imported products, creating supply chain vulnerabilities.
3. Deficit of pipe products across key sectors, including agriculture, housing, and industry.

Investment need:
Full project cost: USD 8,000,000. USD
(USD 5,500,000 – investment, USD 2,500,000 – own contribution)

Key Advantages:
1. Own raw material base – recycled polyethylene and polypropylene supply secured in-house.
2. Established B2B client network across Ukraine.
3. Proprietary innovation – advanced pipe technology for extreme conditions (service life extended by 4–5 times).
4. Readiness for rapid production launch.
5. Environmentally friendly project through the use of recycled materials.

Expected Outcomes:
1. Supply of the domestic market with locally manufactured pipes.
2. Reduction of import dependence.
3. Support for Ukraine’s infrastructure recovery.
4. Opportunity to enter export markets.
