Smolinsky mining and chemical plant

The project includes the creation of enterprises for the extraction and processing of uranium and lithium ores using the latest technologies of the leading companies “Herrenknecht”, “DMS mining service”, “Cameco”, namely: Smolinsky mining and chemical plant with direct location on the depleted Vatutinske field, in the Smoline village, Novoukrainian district, Kirovohrad region on the basis of the abandoned Smolinsk mine site (292.77ha – mining complex, 85.57ha – auxiliary facilities) and the construction of new mines or their complexes (depending on the adopted project decisions), directly in the locations of the “Aprelske” uranium ore deposits (mining by the underground method), about 18 km from the Smoline, and lithium deposit “Polohivske” (mining by the underground method), about 8 km from the Smoline.
