“The general renovation of the façade and roof of the building of NPO “Ukrainian medical Center for rehabilitation of mother and child of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine”

NPO “Ukrainian medical Center for rehabilitation of mother and child of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine” is the only multidisciplinary state institution in the South of Ukraine specializing in restoring the health of children and adults, including families affected by the war. The Center annually receives thousands of patients from different regions of the country, providing outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation, psychological support and comprehensive treatment.

The project involves major repairs to the facade (with insulation) and roof of the building. This will eliminate emergency damage, prevent further destruction, significantly reduce heat loss, reduce heating costs and ensure safe and comfortable conditions for patients and staff.

The implementation of the project will increase the energy efficiency of the institution, improve its appearance and compliance with modern standards of medical institutions. This is an investment in the health of the future generation of Ukraine.

The Center building has been in operation for decades and requires urgent major repairs to the facade and roof. Due to natural wear and tear, weathering, and the effects of the war, the roof and facade are in poor condition. This leads to heat loss, increased energy costs, the risk of leaks, damage to the interior, and a threat to the safety of patients, including children and families of military personnel, veterans, fallen Defenders, missing persons, prisoners of war, as well as internally displaced persons and all civilians affected by the consequences of the war.

The goal of the project is to provide modern, safe, and energy-efficient conditions for providing high-quality medical and rehabilitation care to patients by overhauling the facade and roof of the main service building of the Center.The project directly contributes to the restoration of patient health, the psychosocial rehabilitation of families affected by the war, and the implementation of state priorities in the field of health care and social protection.
