Reconstruction of the Zotakiv Preschool Institution “Gold Fish” (nursery-kindergarten) with an extension of the Protective Building of the civil defense

The municipal institution “Zatokiv Preschool Education Center “Zolota Rybka” (nursery-kindergarten) of the Karolina-Bugazka Village Council” of the Belgorod-Dniester District of the Odesa Region has an interesting location, on the coast of the Black Sea.

The facility was damaged due to Russia’s armed aggression. The institution does not function due to the lack of shelter on the territory of the educational institution. The project envisages the construction of a civil defense protective structure designed for 110 children and 25 service personnel.

Restoration of the nursery building:

• replacement of window and door units with energy-saving ones;
• replacement of the roof (partial);
• installation of a drainage system;
• replacement of food block kitchen equipment;
• replacement of ventilation equipment;
• arrangement of shade canopies, gazebos;
• installation of an anti-icing system;
• arrangement of ramps;
• installation of a crawler-type lift;
• improvement of the territory and covering;
• arrangement of the fence of the kindergarten.

The peculiarity of the construction of the civil defense extension is the limited territory and geographical features of the territory (the kindergarten is located on the seashore and as a result – the proximity of groundwater to the surface). Because of this, the extension will be partially buried and the roof of the civil defense extension will be used as a playground.
