Construction of a waste processing plant in the city of Drohobych, Lviv region

The project of the waste processing complex in Drohobych consists of:

− Sorting lines with a processing capacity of 100,000 tons per year
− Biogas production plant
− Biomethane module for converting biogas into biomethane
− RDF production line with a capacity of 40,000 tons per year

The construction complex is planned on a plot of land with an area of 5 hectares (with the possibility of additional expansion), leased from the Drohobytsk City Council for 49 years.

The raw material for the operation of the complex is solid household waste collected on the territory of the Drohobych, Stryi, and Sambir districts of the Lviv region.

According to the company’s estimates, the amount of solid waste generated in the area of operation of the complex is 194,000 tons per year (excluding waste left by tourists).

Products of the waste processing complex:
− Secondary raw materials: waste paper, glass, PET bottles, and metals (aluminum, copper) for sale to Ukrainian processing enterprises
− RDF fuel for sale to cement plants in Ukraine
− Biomethane for cross-border export through Ukraine’s GTS.
