MNE “Central City Clinical Hospital” of the Sumy City Council is a licensed, accredited to the highest category, a modern, multidisciplinary institution that provides a full range of medical services not only to the residents of the Sumy City Territorial Community, but also serves the residents of the Sumy region by appropriate referrals.

Considering the European energy crisis, the issue of energy independence is currently one of the main priorities for Ukrainian communities. If we talk about public buildings, then medical institutions that provide services around the clock, and that serve patients not only by address, but also by regional order, are among the first.

The main goals of the project are the transition to alternative energy sources, reduction of energy consumption and CO2 emissions.

The object of the project is the MNE “Central City Clinical Hospital” of the Sumy City Council, at the address: Sumy region, Sumy city, 13, twenty years of Victory str. The complex of buildings was commissioned in 1974.

The complex of buildings of MNE “Central City Clinical Hospital” of the Sumy City Council consists of five buildings:

  1. The Administrative Building Hospital No. 1.
  2. The Administrative Building Hospital No. 2.
  3. The Building of Polyclinic Department No. 1
  4. The building of the food block.
  5. The building of the economic building.

The project “Increasing the energy efficiency of the buildings of the MNE “Central City Clinical Hospital” of the Sumy City Council with a component of alternative energy” provides for:

  • overhaul of the heating system (replacement of pipes and radiators);
  • modernization of 4 individual heat points with the installation of 5 heat pumps of the “water-air” type, with a total capacity of 105 kW/h;
  • installation of solar panels on the roof of buildings “Gynecological Department” with an area of 1 338.08 m2 and “Inpatient Department” with an area of 1 434.95 m2, with a total capacity of 60 kWh;
  • insulation of the walls of the facade of the building, with a total area of 9800.6 m2

According to the technical characteristics of the buildings, it is planned to:

  • insulation of the walls of the facade, with an area of 9 800.6 m2 using the “ventilated facade”
  • modernization of an individual heat point (installation of 5 heat pumps of the “water-to-air” type, with a total capacity of 105 kWh)
  • overhaul of the heating system (replacement of pipes and radiators);
  • a system of solar panels on the roof, with a total capacity of 60 kW/h.
